My name is Rachelle and I am a registered counsellor/psychotherapist with the Australian Counselling Association. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science, and a Masters in Counselling.
A counsellor supports and guides you to a greater self-understanding and helps you to make the changes you desire. Counsellors work with you in a creative and collaborative process to use your strengths and learn new skills. A counsellor does not give personal advice, rather they guide you towards a stronger sense of knowing the right solutions for you.
As each client is an individual so too are the styles of therapies I use, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy. I develop treatment plans together with each client so as to help them achieve a happy and balanced lifestyle. I offer a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to openly discuss any issue that is causing you distress. My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, become aware of their inner strengths and restore themselves.
